May in Albuquerque

I had the great opporitunity to attend the 2008 ICLEI Summit in Albuquerque this May to present a workshop. When the plane landed I was pleased to see I had taken the northwest weather with me. The first two days of the conference were wet and rainy. Fortunately, on Friday the weather improved just in time for some free time. The workshop, on designing waste reduction programs, went just as planned and the conference was very valuable. The City of Bellingham took home an award for completing Milestone 3 of Climate Change Action Plan development and implementation.
